STORY
The MG B was first introduced in 1962 and was a development of the previous model, the MG A. The MG B was a two-seater roadster with a lightweight and sporty design. It was offered as both a roadster and a coupe and was very popular during the 1960s and 1970s.
The MG B was powered by a variety of engines, including four-cylinder petrol engines. The car was known for its agile handling and charming, classic roadster looks. There have been several updates and model variants of the MG B over the years.
The first series is the most popular among collectors and enthusiasts.
PERSONAL STORY
This MG was extensively restored. It was finished just in time for the 80th birthday of an Austrian industrialist.
They spent a few lovely trips thinking about his youth. The MG B was the gentleman's first vehicle.
But at 80 there are more comfortable vehicles and so this British classic was given away again.
