STORY
The Aston Martin DB6 is considered a true legend of British automotive engineering—a symbol of style, elegance, and classic sportiness. It embodies the golden age of Gran Turismo vehicles and continues to exude timeless fascination.
Its body, constructed using Touring's lightweight Superleggera construction, combines flowing lines with craftsmanship—every detail conveys both elegance and power. The DB6 represents the quintessential British combination of luxury, understatement, and dynamism, something few other cars have achieved so perfectly.
The series became famous through its close connection to the James Bond legend:
The predecessor DB5 already shaped the image of the secret agent, and the DB6 continued this myth – the car of a gentleman with style, courage and class.
Today, the DB6 is considered the epitome of the classic Aston Martin – a vehicle that not only drives, but breathes character and history.
PERSONAL STORY
The current owner acquired the Aston Martin DB6 several years ago from Thiessen, one of Europe's most renowned classic car dealers. Over the course of its life, the car was upgraded to the coveted Vantage specification with three twin Weber carburetors, which is clearly noticeable in its driving dynamics and power delivery.
The car impresses with its excellent, yet authentic, original condition—not an over-restored showpiece, but a classic Aston Martin with genuine patina and character. Painted in an elegant "Silver Birch"—the same iconic color that made the James Bond car famous—and with a black interior, the car exudes British nobility and understated style.
