STORY

Grand Tourer with style

With the third and final series of the legendary E-Type, Jaguar underwent a significant transformation: The Series 3 presented itself as a powerful grand tourer, characterized by the new 5.3-liter V12 engine and a significantly more comfort-oriented layout. The 2+2 Coupé, in particular, became the preferred choice for drivers seeking elegance, performance, and everyday practicality.

The extended wheelbase of the 2+2 not only made it possible to integrate two emergency seats in the rear, but also gave the car a more balanced roadholding – ideal for long trips.

Inside, the coupe offered significantly more space, a revised dashboard, and power steering and brake booster as standard – indications of the brand's increasing demand for comfort.

With a total production of only 7,297 units, the Series 3 Coupé is not only rarer than the open roadster, but is now a sought-after collector's item for lovers of classic British GT culture.

The Jaguar E-Type Series 3 2+2 combines classic lines with superior technology – and marks the worthy conclusion of one of the most style-defining model series in automotive history.
